Program Details 2022*

Title

Lynn first knew she had breast cancer when her personal care physician called her at home at 8 PM on a weeknight in June. After more tests, surgery, and reconstruction just before the pandemic, she’ now a 3-year breast cancer survivor.

Co-presenter Karen has learned that life is what you make of it. She tries to keep things in perspective and makes sure to laugh every day. Between spending time with her family, taking college classes, doing her Mensa work, and trying to fit in a trip here and there, she keeps very busy, but not necessarily out of trouble. Karen hopes you find information in this session that can help you or a loved one through their individual breast cancer journey.

Beth is the most recent survivor. She is running out of ideas of what to put into her program bio. She is recently retired and that has given her more time to pursue her passions—or at least decrease the time she was supposed to be working. She is the CAM LocSec, a proctor, and the Coördinator of HELL's M's, the Party SIG of American Mensa.
